The Skinny on being Skinny
When one is skinny, one can throw on a garbage liner, tie a belt around it, and still look good. When one’s overweight, one can be wearing the best designer clothes that were ever made and still not look the way one wants to.
Vanity aside, the reason I loath putting on too much weight is that it becomes more difficult to carry myself around. I especially feel it when I am getting out of my car or going up stairs. When I have extra weight on, I feel like I am in someone else's body -- it’s too heavy and it just doesn't feel right. Or look right.
Eating healthy food and exercising in moderation is well worth it. You save a lot of money. You feel good. Your back and legs don't hurt from carrying around all that extra weight. And very importantly, you look good. You can pull off the "looks" that you like. You can wear clothes you actually like instead of trying to camouflage those unsightly areas.

A picture’s supposedly worth a thousand words. Yet I can’t believe I am revealing my “before” picture.
Admitting to how one looked before is way harder than actually getting rid of the weight.
Not proud of it, believe me.
I did however want to show what a difference losing just 20 pounds can make. You can tell I lost all my belly, my love handles, the fat from my upper arms and thighs in a matter of 8 weeks.
