It is very much like a Sheraton anywhere else, only it has a Pakistani touch to it. A huge downstairs with restaurants and bakeries and gift shops. A mezzanine with conference rooms and beauty parlors, and then the standard Sheraton rooms upstairs. One thing I must say is the water is not drinkable no matter what they say. Don’t get it in your mouth, use bottled water to brush your teeth.  Locals have developed a tolerance tor it but people who aren’t accustomed to it get sick. As did we, even when it was boiled. Only drink bottled water, even when in the Sheraton.

The food is very good, the Pakistani restaurant in the mezzanine is superb. The bakery is great too, and there is also a high speed business center.

I used the beauty parlor and was happy with it. I don’t know that I would ever get a haircut in Pakistan, simply because their hair and styles are so different, but I always prefer to have my hair washed and blow dried in a salon when traveling, because this way I don’t have to deal with it for days! I just don’t want to waste my time on my hair every morning. The same goes for waxing, I’d much rather get waxed every 2 weeks than to have to shave every other day. I have better things to do plus they do a much better job than I would.

I like this hotel overall. Even when we stayed elsewhere, we went to the Sheraton for afternoon tea and coffee a lot.
